Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce Hosted Its Festive Christmas Party

ASTORIA – The Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosted its festive and well-attended Christmas party on December 8 at Anemos Restaurant in Astoria. The event brought together the organization’s members, family and friends to usher in the season with warm wishes and holiday cheer. Attendees enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner, drinks, music by DJ Sava, and dancing throughout the evening, as well as a visit from Santa Claus distributing the event’s raffle gifts.

US Department of the Treasury - Assistance for Small Business

The Paycheck Protection Program prioritizes millions of Americans employed by small businesses by authorizing up to $349 billion toward job retention and certain other expenses. Small businesses and eligible nonprofit organizations, Veterans organizations, and Tribal businesses described in the Small Business Act, as well as individuals who are self-employed or are independent contractors, are eligible if they also meet program size standards.

Luncheon organized by the Consul General of Cyprus

The Consul General of Cyprus, Mr. Alexis Phedonos hosted a luncheon for a group of AJC Westchester/Fairfield leaders, led by Mona Abramson, and attended by Mr. Philip Christopher, President of PSEKA, Mr. Kyriacos Papastylianou, President of Federation of Cypriot American Organizations, Mr. Nicos Paphitis, Executive Vice President of FCAO.  The Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce was represented by our own Maria Pappas.

Six Cypriot firms impress U.S. Investors at New York City event

On May 2nd, Six Cyprus-based companies with a focus on American expansion presented their vision to nearly 100 U.S. investors and business leaders last week in New York City. The “Cyprus Realized” event was a partnership between the Cyprus-U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Kinisis Ventures Limited, a business acceleration company founded by Cypriot ex pats.
