Nick Karacostas is currently a Senior Vice President with the Arch Insurance Group, working out of their corporate headquarters in New York City. Nick is responsible for the Customer Claim Center, which encompasses the Alternative Markets, Construction, Programs and National Accounts Claims groups, who utilize Third Party Administrators to handle their claims.

Vasilopita Party – Thursday, January 9th, 2014
NEW YORK. The Hellenic Bankers Association, The Cyprus U.S. Chamber of Commerce, The Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce, the Hellenic Lawyers Association and the Hellenic Medical Association held their Annual Vasilopita Party to welcome the New Year on Thursday evening, January 9, at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Manhattan.
The joint event was blessed by Fr. Anastasios Gounaris, Dean of the Cathedral which provided the space for the offered goods at the event. Fr. Gounaris mentioned the tradition of the Vasilopita and cut the Vasilopita together with the Heads of the other organizations.
Costas Kellas welcomed everyone who attended and thanked Consul General of Greece to New York, Mr. Giorgios Ilopoulos and his wife Anthousa for attending. Others attending were Consul Manos Kouparis, Aristos Constantine, Cyprus Trade Commissioner in New York and the Director of the Press Office in New York. He also thanked the organizing chapters Dr. Nicholas Mezitis, Michael Theodorobeakos, Elena Paraskevas Thadani, Nicholas Nicolaou and also the people who helped organize the event, Stamatis Ghikas, Evangeli Tsavari, Ariana and Despina Axiotakis.
Cyprus-US Chamber of Commerce honors the U.S. Secretary of Energy
NEW YORK. United States Secretary of Energy Dr Ernest Moniz has been awarded the Cyprus-US Distinguished Merit Award during the Cyprus – US Chamber of Commerce 10th annual Awards Dinner, held on Thursday in New York.
Moniz is one of the founding members of the Cyprus Institute. He helped to set up and conceptualize the Institute and contributed towards a collaboration agreement between the Institute and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He also (D. Panagos)
